The patient's safety was of paramount concern and this product provided both height and stability. Installation is easy. Removal is so easy and sanitary that it does not require a bathroom dedicated to the sole use of the patient. Reviewers of similar products frequently note cleaning is difficult. The product very easy to clean and maintain. As for fit, the bathroom closest to the patient is a small half-bath and the toilet is very close to a cabinet. My concern the riser might not fit proved unfounded - even after the toilet was replaced with a larger unit.
