It was delivered in two days!, and she couldn't be happier. Not only will it give her the mobility to get around her home, but since it converts into a wheelchair in seconds, she can use it when she's out as a place to rest if she tires or becomes unsteady. The handbrake feature is great. It doesn't take much effort to apply them if needed, and the locking feature allows the chair to be locked in place to act as additional support, or just to keep it from rolling when entering or exiting the seat.
The description of the unit on the website doesn't make mention of the locking feature of the handbrake, but it's one of the most important aspects of this product. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of this product, or the response time and quick delivery from the seller.
