Product was just what I was looking for to light up some deck stairs. Had the 1st 3' section go out less than a month after installing. Contacted the company and they said it is an easy fix to splice in a section and they would send what is required which they never did. 2nd section just went out as well which will necessitate finding some other lighting alternative due to safety concerns on the stairs. Unfortunate that they don't last as LED's are supposed to and that the company won't make it right. Even if product were completely replaced would still have a lot of my labor reinstalling.
Update: 2 more sections have gone out since I first posted this review. CB concepts responds back promptly and promises to make it right but does not follow through. A 60% failure rate within 4 months and no replacement yet.
Follow up: Company finally sent 20' replacement section after many back and forth e-mails. 10 days after reinstalling this new section on my stairs the first 2' section went out. Obviously a design/engineering flaw and not one bad run of lights as these orders were 4 months apart. Will try and find some quality LED rope lights that will last as they are supposed to when the rest of these continue to fail. Avoid this product unless you like installing and replacing on a regular basis.
