Purchased the medi honey dressings to use on my mothers skin tears. She is 81 and any little bruise opens up and starts bleeding and takes forever to heal. I simply cut the medihoney dressing to cover the tear, cover with adaptic webbing and gauze. This product both protects and heals the wound. replace dressing at least every other day until healed. This product was recommended by her wound doctor.
Love it, easy to use, but a bit sticky.... You usually cannot find this product in the name brand pharmacies, they will order for you, but pricy per sheet.
