For someone who is new to wearing weaves, i was very impressed with this hair when i recieved it. I was able to tell right away that it was indeed virgin hair and not some chemically processed knock off. The hair is very soft and has VERY minimal shedding, I ran my fingers through the hair about 5 or 6 times and only came out with 2 strands of hair. I would recommend to anyone looking for virgin hair at an affordable price. I brought 3 bundle of 22, 20,18 inches and it came out to less than $200. Definitely a winner in my book.

UPDATE- So I have had my Pristine Hair sewed in for approximately 4 months now and the hair is still great. I do not believe that this hair will last me more than 8 months but that is only because I did not use heat protection everytime I blowdryed or flat ironed the hair. Heat will shorten the life of the hair. Please understand that no Virgin hair is going to be 100% perfect. This is great hair for the price and is definitely better than a lot of other virgin hair companies that may charge double or triple the amount. With that being said here is the breakdown of the pros and cons of this hair:

Pros
1. Hair has a beautiful luster to it, about a medium-low sheen which makes the hair look very natural
2. Blends very well with natural hair (I have a 3c/4a type texture)
3. No serious issues with tangling at all
4. Looks beautiful when it is curled
5. Hair is low maintenance

Cons
1. Hair has very minimal shedding in the beginning, however the longer you keep the hair in the more it will shed especially if you do not use heat protection on the hair before using flat irons and curling irons. Heat Protection is crucial for virgin hair if you want to keep its longevity.
2. Unfortunately the hair does not hold a curl without product. I never used a curling iron or curling wand on this hair. I would recommend using flexi rods overnight and either apply wrapping lotion to the hair before hand or use Tresemme Two Tres Extra Hold Spray after taking them out. Please keep in mind that the only reason why this hair does not hold a curl without product is because it is a straight texture. Virgin hair hold curls easier when it is a wavy or curly.

Overall I would give this hair 4 and a half stars out of five only due to the shedding and thinning ends. Other than this issue I really like the hair and would order from Pristine hair again.
