clean looking, counter height, shiny trash can. small 5.5 inch diameter opening for trash deposit, but most of my trash fits without major manipulation. great for a white counter/white cabinet kitchen. to empty it you must lift the entire outer shell off the inner metal container and then retrieve the trash bag. the small opening in the top does keep wet trash from splashing onto the rim of the inner container. in summary, it looks great but requires a little extra effort to deposit some trash items and to empty the trash.
