This is a top of the line, very expensive shaving brush. I have used shaving brushes for ten years, usually buying Simpsons brand and have been very satisfied with that brand. I decided to try something different this time and ordered this German-made brush. Although it is quite soft with good Badger hairs and functions well, after several weeks of use it has begun to shed hairs. It probably loses 15-20 hair per shaving episode, something that my Simpson brushes never did. I am very dissatisfied with this product and will be returning to Simpsons brand of brushes.
