I needed a sturdy, wide shower chair with a back and arms, one that would be stable and fit in my shower. This product has been working very well for me. My only suggestions for improvement would be a) to add some kind of grip material (e.g., rubber) to the arms to make them less slippery, although I have not had a lot of difficulty with them as they are now; and b) add suction-type feet to the base. (The existing feet are slip resistant and I have not had a problem, but the addition of suction would make the chair even more stable.)
