This magnifier is really nice!! It is also VERY expensive. I'm sure you could buy one for a lot less money that would work nearly as well.

Compared to my old 10x loupe, the image is always a bit more sharp and there are less chromatic issues. Tiny details pop out that I don't see with my old loupe. On the other hand, I only paid about $12 for my old magnifier.

I really like the 3-6-9 feature, and I use it a lot. It is nice to be able to quickly trade off magnification for larger field of view and working distance.

Overall, this is a very high quality tool with a price to match.
