I was very skeptical about trying a new dishwasher detergent. I have been a faithful Cascade and Glass Magic girl for years. But once I started washing my baby's bottles in the dishwasher, I was worried about chemicals and/or residue that might be left behind. So I started looking for nontoxic detergents and ended up trying this. I can't speak for the scented ones, I really wanted to try them but was afraid it would leave the baby bottles with a scent or, like some reviewers said, an aftertaste. So I went with the unscented and it's amazing. We have super hard water and the only way I've been able to avoid the hard water spots/residue is to use Glass Magic along with the detergent. One reviewer of this product said she had hard water and it worked for her so that's really what made me try it. I've run at least 5-7 loads of dishes so far and they are spotless! I don't leave a lot of food on the dishes so I don't really know how well it would clean something like a casserole dish with baked on food but as far as plates go, they usually still have a little bit of sauce or whatever on them and they've been coming out squeaky clean. I feel so much better about using this nontoxic detergent. I'm hooked.
