We needed a ramp for our back door - single step. Our beloved old dog could no longer get up the step. I found this, and ordered it. Shipped in pieces. But a quick and easily assembly. Very nicely designed and machined. Had it up and installed in just a few minutes. No issues with this at all, for the year or so we used it. Made things much easier. I chose not to anchor it to the concrete. I simply did not feel like the whole concrete drill thing. As a result, it wandered a bit, and we had to straighten it out every few days. The work of a moment. I don't know how this would work for a higher step, but for 5" or lower (it is adjustable), it was very good. Recommended.
