As a dentist who deals with blood and saliva all day long, I wanted a glove that covered my wrist area all the way to my gown sleeve. Most gloves end at the palm, leaving the wrist exposed; this glove does not. Now, wearing this glove, my watch is covered, and I have no bare skin exposed to potential contaminants. The cost is a bit more of course, but the added protection is worth the extra cost. I also like this glove because it is latex rather than nitrile. I have used both types of gloves but much prefer latex over nitrile. With nitrile I do not get the snug fit that latex provides. Nitrile gloves do not stretch uniformly over the finger areas as latex gloves do. Tactile sensitivity is far superior with latex gloves.
