This is most definitely a real CHI flat iron--it was nice that it came with that bonus suitcase--there's no way someone manufacturing reproductions of the real brand would make a suitcase to give away for free with it!

I've tried several flat irons and I always go back to CHI. It gets hot and it glides through my hair. The suitcase is actually decent. A little flimsy, but I can't complain--it was free with the purchase! I do like the compact size and the spinner wheels on the suitcase.
