I had my first microcurrent temporary lift done in a spa and the effects are quite dramatic, but they only last for a couple of days. Who doesn't hate that sagging jaw line that makes your face resemble the looks of a Tennessee trooper's bloodhound? This treatment will get rid of that look. They say that regular use can literally retrain the muscle tissue in your face. I bought this one as a medium-priced instrument for in-home use and I am currently satisfied with my results. It comes with paraben free conductive gel for use during treatment and a serum/nutrient product for post-treatment use. I am currently using it every other day and that is giving me enough improvement to be satisfied with my investment and my progress. I don't want to be obsessive by getting into daily use, but hey: have you seen my Mom's jawline? It only takes about 3 minutes to do both sides of your face and if you want to treat the area above each eye, add another 3 minutes or less.

It is completely painless, in spa or at home, although you will probably get a metallic taste in your mouth. This unit is rechargeable, but it will also work while on the power grid, ie: plug and play right out of the box. Other, more expensive units must be charged for 12-15 HOURS BEFORE you can use them.

WARNING: I am prone to migraines and on two occasions I did allow the current to flow through my temples. Both times, I suffered a migraine later in the day. Can't say it was caused by the device, but I won't do that again. There are some pretty good tutorials on YouTube that show how to use the device. They don't recommend treating the midline of the body or the temple regions.

ADDED BONUS: Microcurrent can be used safely on many areas where collagen and muscle stimulation is therapeutic!
